Dr Braj Pande

OUR TEAM

Dr Pande has been a practising GP for 16 years. Dr Pande is an examiner for Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a supervisor/trainer for General Practice Training of Queensland (GPTQ) His area of special interests include:

Chronic disease management
Asthma & Diabetes Management
Preventative Health
Skin checks
Minor surgery

Dr Pande is available for appointments 7 days a week. Dr Pande is fluent is Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.



General Practitioner

Dr Pratibha Sharma


Dr Sharma is a General Practitioner with a wide range of experience having also worked in Caboolture, Redcliffe and Mackay Base Hospitals during her training. Her special interests include infectious disease, sexual health (Implanon & Mirena insertion), Women’s and Children health. Dr Sharma is available for appointments: Monday to Friday 9:40am to 4:30 PM and selected Saturday mornings. Dr Sharma is fluent in Russian, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.



General Practitioner

Dr Archana Bhandarker


Dr. Archana is a General Practitioner with a wide range of experience. Her special interests include infectious disease, sexual health (Implanon & Mirena insertion), Women’s and Children health. Dr. Archana is available for appointments: Monday & Thursday 9:00 am to 3:00 PM. Dr. Archana is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarathi, and Marathi.



Senior Physiotherapist

Ashok Patel


Ashok as an experienced physiotherapist, Ashok treats everyone, from professional
athletes to elders.
He is devoted to the highest standards of care and injury management. His goal
is to speed your recovery up as much as possible, getting you back to full
strength to improve your quality of life.
Not only will he help to get you back to full health, but he will provide you with
the education and advice to ensure your continued improvement for your lifetime. While injury and illness are always a potential threat,
failure to understand how to prevent them and how to deal with them can result
in significantly worse effects.





Podistrist

Dr Anshu Sarkiwal


Dr Anshu Sarikwal has done her Bachelor of Podiatry from Queensland University of Technology. She has interests in all facets of podiatry with a special interest in Diabetics and high-risk foot assessment and treatment, ingrown nail treatment, surgery and orthotics. She believes in preventative and conservative approaches for optimal patient outcomes. Being a mother of two young boys in school, Anshu understands the stress of everyday life and therefore wants to make access to specialised podiatry treatment affordable for everyone. In her spare time, she loves going to the gym, doing body pump, and spin classes and going bike riding. She is fluent in English and Hindi and loves travelling around the world.



Dietitian

Harriet Makepeace


Harriet is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with extensive consulting experience supporting adults and children with diabetes, gut disorders, heart disease, and weight management.

As a mum, Harriet is passionate about working with busy families to improve eating habits, as well as supporting mothers through their pregnancy journey, including preconception and postpartum. Harriet also has a special interest in women’s health (endometriosis, PCOS).

Harriet takes a holistic approach to treat a broad range of conditions, utilising evidence-based nutrition advice to equip her patients with the tools and strategies to create positive, sustainable change.



Cardiologist

Dr Farhan Syed


Dr. Farhan is a visiting cardiologist with extensive experience. His areas of expertise include general cardiology, coronary heart diseases, arrhythmia management etc.
He is available once a month, on a Saturday, with prior appointments only.
Apart from English, he is also fluent in Urdu and Hindi.



Physiotherapist

Ankita Jariwala


Ankita comes to us with a wealth of experience and a passion for helping patients regain mobility and physical function following injury or the effects of pregnancy or chronic conditions. With a strong background in orthopaedic, cardio-respiratory and neurological disorders she has an excellent understanding of the challenges that patients face living with these chronic conditions. Ankita treats a wide variety of conditions including:

  • Spinal conditions(Acute/Chronic)
  • Pre/Post Surgery
  • Peripheral injuries/Pain (shoulders,knees, hips, ankles etc)
  • Scoliosis
  • Many More…

You can see Ankita privately without a referral. If you have health insurance extras cover, you may even be eligible for a rebate. Alternatively, you can be referred to Ankita as part of a Care Plan for managing chronic conditions and may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate.
